about

This album was a wild process. It started in the most communal way one could imagine: all staying in the same hotel right above the Lotte Lindenberg studio in Germany, spending intense days recording from dusk til dawn, all set up in the same live room. The finalising was quite the opposite: full lockdown and all separated between Portugal and Spain, recording finishing touches in a very solitary manner. This album is a portrait of these extreme times: nomadic to sedentary, frenetic to sedated, high to low.

Special thanks to all who have been a part of our journey:
from the friendly guy at the petrol station to the French police who strip searched us;
to the concert promoters in towns we'd never heard of but now are forever etched in our memories;
to our families and friends for putting up with terrible music playing in the early years to the first people who said "I love your music";
to the people who travelled far and wide to see a show to the people passing by and decided to take a chance;
to the people who listen to us in the middle of the night with headphones to the enthusiastic people who share our music with anyone who'll listen;
to all the talented folk who've played, recorded, filmed, travelled, produced, cooked, engineered, photographed, painted, designed, released and believed with us, this would never be possible without them.
Finally, thank you to you, who has taken the time to read this ridiculous thank you note.
We hope our music can be part of your journey. We are all journeying together.
We love you we do.

about

TIME FOR T Lisbon, Portugal

Described as somewhere between Bob Dylan and Fela Kuti, Time for T have always been difficult to categorise. This might be due to the eclectic backgrounds of the band (England, Portugal, Brazil and Spain) and the nomadic nature of it's members.

One could say their music consists of pensive folk songs sugarcoated in sunny melodies and groovy rhythms.
